Every feature below ships in the same free file. Nothing here is a paid add-on.
Press Tab to cycle an element between Scene Heading, Action, Character, Parenthetical, Dialogue and Transition. Press Enter and the next line automatically becomes the type that logically follows. Keyboard shortcuts ⌘1–⌘6 jump straight to any element type.
Every scene heading is picked up automatically and listed in a sidebar, numbered in order. Click any entry to jump straight to that scene. Collapse the sidebar entirely when you want the page to take up the whole screen.
Export uses your browser’s native print engine with a print stylesheet tuned to standard screenplay margins — 1.5″ left, 1″ on every other side, 12pt Courier — so what you see on screen is what comes out the other end.
Courier Prime is the default. Prefer something else? Type the exact name of any font installed on your system and the page updates instantly.
Save downloads a single project file straight to your computer. No account, no cloud sync, no database anywhere. Your screenplay never touches a server.
One click hides the sidebar, toolbar and status bar, leaving only the page. A single button in the corner brings your tools back whenever you need them.
There is no server component. Once the file is on your computer, it works on a plane, on a train, or in a cabin with no signal — forever, with no expiring license.
While you write, a draft is kept automatically in your browser so an accidental refresh or closed tab doesn’t cost you a scene.
